Archana Sharma started Archana's Food Basket in Sector-52, Noida with a simple realization: when people move away from their hometowns or celebrate life's most sacred milestones, the sweets available in commercial bakeries and chain stores no longer taste like home.
Industrial sweet factories cut corners by blending vanaspati (hydrogenated vegetable fat) and palm oil into laddoos, saturating them with refined white sugar to mask stale flours. The sacred aroma of authentic cow desi ghee, hand-ground spices, and slow roasting was vanishing.
